Save an Off-Grid map to use your phone's built-in GPS to navigate out of cell range.
In the Off-Grid maps menu, tap "Save New Map."
The section of map outlined in red is the area that will be downloaded. Move the map to the area that you want to save.
Select the appropriate map size and detail level.
Tap the "Save" button to begin the download. Wait until this map is done saving before downloading another. When the download completes, a new Off-Grid map will appear in your Off-Grid maps menu.

6. How do I Learn More About A Piece of Land Such As Landowner Information?
Tap any point on the map to see more info about the land.
- The "About this location" window will appear at the bottom of your screen.
- The latitude and longitude of the point you tapped will be listed.
- If you tapped inside a private parcel or public land parcel, it will be outlined in green.
- For private land, the owner's name, tax address, and acreage will be displayed (if available).
- We update each state at least once per year, and we get this data directly from the county, but some counties and townships are better at keeping accurate records than others. If you notice any errors on a property, please tap "Report Error" in the "About this location" window to let us know. Reporting Map Errors.
